The Green Economy Foundation has relied on volunteer help to support several of its projects, particularly in relation totree planting and after-care, garden and woodland maintenance, running events, fundraising, biodiversity project work, etc.
At our new headquarters in CECAS, there is a volunteer group The Friends of Myross Wood https://cecas.ie/friends who meet regularly to manage the woods for biodiversity and for people. They are a group of all abilities and a wide range of knowledge about biodiversity that meets once a month on a Saturday morning and occasionally at other times for particular tasks. For more information and/or to receive updates on meeting times and on-going projects see
